Series: September Revelation

In September of 2024, I went to bed thinking there was no way I’d be interested in the open call about the years of the snake and dragon. My dreams had other ideas. I dreamt of a pregnant mother glowing with light in a barren desert being circled by a dragon as the milky way lit the sky overhead. I dreamt of a deadly snake hurtling through the stormy clouds towards earth, beautiful and deadly. When I awoke, I recognized the imagery from the biblical apocalypse text of Revelation. So naturally I had to paint them.
